    Available materials:

    • Tubes: polycarbonate
    • Piston: polyethylene
    • Caps: polyethylene

    Available dimensions:

    • Round D 2 mm – Length 100 mm
    • Square 2 x 2 mm – Length 100 mm

    Use:

    • X-RAY MEASUREMENT: The excellent X-rays transparency of the materials and the high repeatability make our tubes especially indicated in the field of scattering measurements.
    • SAMPLE HANDLING: An integrated piston makes the device a real disposable, single use tube or pipette, once the tube is filled it can be plugged and inserted into X-ray measurement systems, allowing also to recover and stock the samples.
    • OPTICAL MEASUREMENT: All our KI-BEAM tubes have translucent walls that allow to perform laboratory optical measurements (spectrophotometry, fluorimetry, colorimetry, etc).
  • MAIN FEATURES

    Ki-BEAM tubes are plastic thin-walled capillary tubes with high performance.

    It can be used in any procedure where small quantities of liquid or powder samples have to be stored, managed or analyzed.

    KI-BEAM TEST TUBES ARE AVAILABLE IN DIFFERENT STANDARD VERSIONS:

    high repeatability of geometric and material features

    It is made of highly inert and/or biocompatible materials, with excellent X-ray transparency, for which they were originally developed. They are strong, unbreakable, easy to handle, easy to plug and open, allowing complete sample recovery.

    A perfectly fitting disposable piston is integrated in every single tube allowing a precise and clean tune filling without any need for an external pipetting system.

  • Both tube and piston can be easily cut with a blade to achieve user’s best configuration, without any deformation or alteration to its mechanical properties.
    Each tube is supplied with two standard caps fitting both tube endings.
